We had a special Halloween evening at the Todd house handing out treats to the guests who came by. Plus we Trick or Treated in the neighborhood and went by Good Shepherd Church that hosted an outdoor event on Halloween evening. We handed out tracts at our house and I only found two tracts on the ground in the neighborhood the day after.
I love going up to the clocks at the Todd house and setting them back one hour like we just did yesterday and this morning. Stay up late and set your clocks back like you earned an extra hour. Our church clocks were modified a few days ago by Lynn Sapp. Thank you, Lynn.
Three days from now we will celebrate seven days the Chicago Cubs as the World series champions for the first time in 108 years plus we will have a new President of the United States all in seven (7) days.
We will be hosting here on campus three community precincts voting here at 8109 Greenleaf Avenue on election day this coming Tuesday.
A group of our gals will be headed to Calvary Chapel Murrietta Hot Springs Conference Center this coming Friday for a weekend retreat. Pray for them and us guys who end up holding down the fort here in Whittier.
Kyle Cherryholmes is serving in Ireland under Youth With a Mission. He left Los Angeles in August this summer for his ministry in Belfast, Ireland. Kyle and I spoke yesterday.
Moody Press Publishers has been selling the Children’s Baptism books I wrote for several years now. They informed me this week that they are now selling a digital version of each book through Amazon and Nook and iBooks and other outlets. They are doing this so people can purchase the baptism books at a low price.
